On Friday, June 14, 12th COINS General Meeting was held at the conference room at Life Science & Environment Research Center (LiSE).
This meeting is held every half year with all the COINS participating institutions.
This FY is the COI final year of phase Ⅲ (2019 – 2021). In this meeting, we shared and expanded the goal in COI final year and vision of realize " In-Body Hospitals " on 2045. we shared recognition.
This time, we visited Medtronic Innovation Center Japan before COINS General meeting. and we had lectures by Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development on the COINS General meeting.
In poster session, 30 posters were presented and there was an active interaction between the researchers.
Finally, Mr. Toshio Asano, Asahi Kasei Corporation, Prof. Tatsuro Irimura, Juntendo University and Mr. Hiroshi Misawa, Medical Technology Association of Japan gave us feedback. The meeting was very productive to further strengthen the tie of the researchers toward realization of " In-Body Hospitals ".
