The 8th Group Meeting was held in the main conference room at the Life Science & A Environment Research Center (LiSE) on Friday, June 2, 2017. This meeting is held semi-annually with participation of all participating institutions.
COINS entered the second year of Phase 2 (Fiscal year 2016 - 2018) and Tokyo Science University, AccuRna, Inc. and Brazison Therapeutics Inc. newly joined.
In response to COINS' "Realization of In body hospital", the participating organizations gave presentation in each of the six topics to clarify differentiation and advantage from the existing technology in order to connect the outcome to social implementation after the completion of all programs. In the panel discussion, we discussed the points to lead to social implementation.
Further, regarding utilization of researcher information filing tool "Pure" system, Ms. Yoshiko Kakita from Elsevier B.V., Dr. Tomohiro Anzai, Theme 6 leader and Associate professor, The University of Tokyo and Dr. Shintaro Sengoku, Theme 6 member and Associate professor, Tokyo Institute of Technology gave presentation and confirmed the effectiveness of using filing tool.
In poster session, active discussion and exchange of information were carried out among researchers on 35 posters.
Finally, with valuable advice from two advisors, the meeting became very meaningful to strengthen further unity towards "Realization of in body hospital".
